The first phase of this roadway was completed in August 2010 for the school opening and the second phase was completed in November 2010.
This road is a new 4-lane divided urban roadway with turn lanes at the intersections and driveways into the new elementary school. The project included a new four-way traffic signal at the intersection of SH 199 and Pojo Road.
